Merlin Williams
Bio

I was born in Scotland and came to Canada in 1967, the centennial year. I was educated at Humber College in Toronto, where I studied woodwinds with Eddie Sossin and Pat LaBarbera, arranging with Ron Collier, composition with Paul Read and conducting with Bram Smith and Howard Cable.

I spent thirteen years as an Itinerant Music Instructor with the Toronto District School Board. I currently teach woodwind students at St. Clement's School in Toronto, do private lessons and school clinics and play as a freelance woodwind doubler. I'm an artist/clinician for Jupiter Music Canada and perform and record on their Artist Series saxophones and DeMedici flutes.
